About Us

The not-for-profit Center's main purpose is to promote clinical social work as a profession that is highly respected and clearly defined in terms of the rights of its members, the standards they adhere to, and the unique abilities they bring to the challenge of helping others. It seeks to be a unifying force amid the diversity and dynamism of a profession with 200,000 members nationwide, constituting the largest provider of mental-emotional healthcare in the United States.
